GUATEMALA 2023

What is the point of life? My husband and I were talking about this recently. What is the point? Why do we watch the world crumble around us? Why are we suffering every day, just to wake up and suffer again?

I don't have a good answer, the only answer that I feel solid about is that this life is bigger than ourselves.

There is a bigger picture, whether we know what the bigger picture is or not.

Wake up every morning and make this awful place better.

Make a difference in your family, your friends, and the people you walk by.

For me, my 'purpose' is my kids, husband, friends, and my Guatemalan family. When you start working with people you care about, they become family. That is what my Guatemala friends have become.

Follow along with my Delivering Sight (soon to become a nonprofit). This is a project that I have worked on for a few years, and eventually, I would like it to be efficient enough to create a real nonprofit. For now it is a small movement I would like you to be apart of.
